2. Aesthetic and cosmetic services only
Kaelyss provides aesthetic, cosmetic, non-surgical hair replacement, wig, topper, toupee, hair system, styling, maintenance, and consultation services.
Kaelyss is not a medical practice.
Kaelyss does not provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, therapy, dermatology services, oncology services, psychological counseling, or any other licensed healthcare service.
Kaelyss does not diagnose hair loss, alopecia, scalp conditions, skin conditions, allergies, medical conditions, or any health-related issue.
Kaelyss does not claim that any wig, topper, toupee, hair system, adhesive, tape, service, product, consultation, or styling method can diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or reverse hair loss or any medical condition.
Any information provided by Kaelyss is for general aesthetic, cosmetic, styling, educational, and informational purposes only.
Clients and website visitors should consult a licensed physician, dermatologist, oncologist, allergist, therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, scalp conditions, skin reactions, allergies, or health-related decisions.
3. Medical wig and cranial prosthesis wording
Kaelyss may use terms such as “medical wig,” “cranial prosthesis,” “hair loss wig,” “alopecia wig,” or similar phrases to describe aesthetic hair replacement products that may be used by clients experiencing hair loss.
These terms are used for product description, client support, documentation, receipt, insurance, reimbursement, or general informational purposes only.
Use of these terms does not mean that Kaelyss provides medical care, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, medical devices, or medical advice.
Insurance reimbursement decisions are made by the client’s insurance provider, not by Kaelyss.
Kaelyss may provide receipts or product documentation when appropriate, but Kaelyss does not guarantee insurance coverage or reimbursement.
4. Website information is not professional advice
The information on this website is provided for general educational, aesthetic, and informational purposes only.
Website content may include information about wigs, toppers, toupees, hair systems, styling, maintenance, hairpiece care, cap construction, lace types, density, color, sizing, comfort, aesthetics, and related topics.
This information should not be relied upon as medical, legal, financial, insurance, tax, or professional advice.
Visitors should consult the appropriate licensed professional for medical, legal, financial, insurance, or tax questions.
5. No guarantee of results
Kaelyss works to provide high-quality aesthetic hair replacement products and services, but individual results vary.
Kaelyss does not guarantee that any wig, topper, toupee, hair system, product, service, consultation, maintenance appointment, adhesive, tape, or styling method will meet every personal expectation, match a photo exactly, last for a specific period of time, or create a specific emotional, social, personal, professional, medical, or lifestyle outcome.
Results may vary based on product selection, cap fit, density, hair type, base type, styling, care routine, maintenance schedule, client handling, climate, activity level, scalp condition, adhesive use, lifestyle, and individual preference.
Before-and-after photos, testimonials, reviews, social media posts, and client stories represent individual experiences only. They do not guarantee the same or similar result for every client.
6. Product appearance and human hair variations
Kaelyss makes reasonable efforts to display and describe products accurately.
However, human hair products may naturally vary in color, tone, texture, wave pattern, density, length, movement, shine, and appearance.
Color may appear different depending on lighting, photography, phone screens, computer screens, filters, indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, and individual perception.
Cap fit, color preference, density preference, lace preference, length preference, comfort preference, and style preference are personal choices.
A difference in personal preference, screen appearance, expectation, or perception does not qualify for a refund.
All purchases remain subject to Kaelyss’s Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Appointment Policy.
7. Custom and semi-custom nature of products
Many Kaelyss wigs, toppers, toupees, hair systems, and hairpieces are custom or semi-custom because they may be selected, ordered, reserved, altered, prepared, styled, or recommended based on client-specific details.
These details may include cap size, base size, density, length, color, texture, hair type, lace type, base type, parting, clips, fit, styling, cut, client photos, measurements, desired look, or consultation notes.
A product does not need to be handmade from scratch to be considered custom or semi-custom.
Because Kaelyss products are personal, hygienic, and often custom or semi-custom, all sales are final except where required by law or as stated in Kaelyss’s written policies.
8. Care, maintenance, and normal wear
Wigs, toppers, toupees, and hair systems require proper care, maintenance, washing, brushing, storage, product use, and handling.
The lifespan and appearance of a hairpiece depend on many factors, including frequency of use, client care, maintenance schedule, styling habits, heat exposure, adhesive use, tape use, product buildup, sleeping habits, climate, activity level, and handling.
Shedding, tangling, dryness, lace wear, color fading, texture changes, or reduced softness may occur with use and are not automatically considered defects.
Kaelyss is not responsible for damage caused by improper care, improper washing, excessive heat, sleeping in hairpieces, swimming, working out, adhesive misuse, tape misuse, product buildup, coloring by another provider, cutting by another provider, chemical processing, client handling, or normal wear and tear.
9. Allergies, sensitivities, and reactions
Some clients may experience sensitivity, irritation, discomfort, or reaction to adhesives, tapes, removers, clips, combs, hair products, styling products, tools, or materials.
Clients are responsible for disclosing known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, scalp conditions, adhesive reactions, tape reactions, latex sensitivities, chemical sensitivities, or other relevant concerns before receiving services or using products.
Clients with medical concerns, scalp concerns, skin concerns, allergies, sensitivities, or a history of reactions should consult a licensed healthcare professional before using products or receiving services.
Kaelyss is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by undisclosed allergies, undisclosed sensitivities, client misuse, failure to follow instructions, third-party products, or individual reactions.
10. Reviews, testimonials, influencers, and social media
Kaelyss may display reviews, testimonials, before-and-after photos, social media posts, influencer content, client stories, and user-generated content.
These materials reflect individual experiences and opinions. They do not guarantee that every client will have the same or similar result.
Kaelyss may remove, moderate, or decline to publish content that is false, misleading, abusive, inappropriate, spam, offensive, unrelated, or violates our policies.
If Kaelyss works with influencers, affiliates, creators, ambassadors, or paid partners, sponsored or compensated relationships should be disclosed where required.
FTC guidance says endorsement and testimonial practices must be truthful and properly handled, including disclosures where appropriate.
11. Photos, videos, and client privacy
Kaelyss respects client privacy.
Kaelyss will not knowingly use identifiable client before-and-after photos, videos, name, likeness, testimonial, or story for marketing purposes without consent.
If a client gives Kaelyss permission to use photos, videos, reviews, testimonials, or social media content, the client grants Kaelyss permission to use that content for marketing, advertising, website, social media, portfolio, education, and promotional purposes.
Clients may request that Kaelyss stop using their content in future marketing by contacting contact@kaelyss.com. Content already printed, published, distributed, posted, advertised, or used in campaigns may not always be removable.
12. Website errors, availability, and changes
Kaelyss makes reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and updated, but errors may occur.
Kaelyss does not guarantee that product descriptions, prices, availability, timelines, photos, policies, promotions, service descriptions, or other website content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
Kaelyss reserves the right to correct errors, update information, change prices, change services, cancel orders, refuse orders, or modify website content at any time where permitted by law.
Product availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by Kaelyss.
13. Shipping and fulfillment notice
Shipping, processing, production, customization, and delivery timelines are estimates only unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Online sellers must have a reasonable basis for shipping promises, and if they cannot ship within a promised timeframe, they may need to obtain the buyer’s consent to the delay or provide a refund for unshipped merchandise where required by law.
Kaelyss shipping and delivery issues are governed by our Shipping Policy.
14. Third-party websites, apps, and services
The Kaelyss website may link to or use third-party websites, apps, platforms, payment processors, financing providers, scheduling tools, shipping carriers, review platforms, email tools, SMS tools, social media platforms, or other technology providers.
Kaelyss is not responsible for third-party content, policies, errors, fees, outages, delays, data practices, decisions, or actions.
Visitors and clients are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party platform they use.
15. SMS, email, and marketing communications
If you sign up for Kaelyss emails, text messages, appointment reminders, marketing messages, or promotional communications, you agree to receive those communications according to the consent you provide.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails or opt out of marketing texts according to the instructions provided in those messages.
Transactional messages related to appointments, orders, payments, shipping, or customer service may still be sent where permitted.
If Kaelyss uses SMS marketing, written consent and opt-out handling matter because FCC/TCPA rules apply to robocalls and robotexts, including marketing messages.

We aim to improve website accessibility and usability over time.
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Kaelyss website, booking page, product page, or online content, please contact us at contact@kaelyss.com or 312-471-0725 and tell us what issue you experienced.
